Synopsis
Telarc's 1987 Western stereo classic, Round-up, is now released on audiophile quality Gold CD. Erich Kunzel conducts the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra along with Frankie Laine on vocals in performing favorite western themes from movies and TV shows. Frankie Laine sings themes from 'High Noon' & 'Gunfight at the OK Corral'. Laine also recreates the unforgettable 'Rawhide' theme. The collection also contains other well-known movie themes such as 'Magnificent Seven', 'How the West Was Won' and 'Big Country'. Recorded in Music Hall, Cincinnati on September 15 & 16, 1986. Numbered, limited edition of 1,000.
