It's a little heavier than it looks, and with a pin-clasp spacer that keeps it pointed the right direction after you pin it on. It's not what Scotty wore, obviously, but looks much better in my opinion. More in keeping with the metal insignia worn later in the franchise, and isn't branded to a t-shirt, so I can even wear it to work when I feel like showing my geek pride.
